This Restaurant was inaugurated in January 1973 at Calle Álvarez de Baena 4, Madrid.
The food can be described as “Haute Cuisine”, is extremely personalised and takes seasonal products into account. The crockery was exclusively designed for Zalacaín by Villeroy & Boch and the cutlery is by Plata Meneses.
Their Majesties King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofía have honoured us with their presence on many occasions, as have different Presidents of the Spanish Government and State Ministers, Nobel Prize winners and top Spanish and foreign executives.
After 30 years of experience, the restaurant is one of the main points of gastronomic reference, given that it is one of the few to have the five-fork classification and to be considered as the best representation of luxury and elegance.
